DATA PROCESSING
Using Matlab® (matrix laboratory) as its programming language, MSI quality controls and processes large volumes of oceanographic and meteorological data. Matlab® supports the entire data analysis process, from acquiring data from external devices and databases to producing presentation-quality output. The Matlab® environment offers:

• Functions for pre-processing data including data reduction and manipulation

Software and Database Development and Hosting

Our Matlab-based software suite (including both acquisition and processing components) is continually being developed in order to meet the changing needs of our clients.

Using the Matlab® webserver, MSI can develop and host metocean databases. Clients then have access to their data via the internet or MSI can generate products on demand. Data storage format depends on the type of data and the purpose for which it is collected
