MSI Wins 2011 Tasmanian Export Award

MSI is pleased to announce it has won the 2011 Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Tasmanian Export Award for Small Business.

In its 49th year, the Australian Export Awards program comprises a series of eight State and Territory Export Awards recognising excellence and innovation in exporting in a range of industry sectors. The Tasmanian program is recognised as one of the most important events on the business calendar and is the state’s highest recognition of excellence for Tasmanian companies exporting goods and services. It is also held in high regard throughout the world.

MSI was established in Hobart in 2006 to specifically target the Australasian market and is proud of the role that it plays, along with other Tasmanian businesses, not only to the local and national economy, but also in enhancing our state’s reputation for companies that excel on the world stage. Having successfully operated in over 30 different countries worldwide to date and with nearly 60% of MSI’s annual revenue being derived in the export market, MSI is pleased to be recognised by the Tasmanian Government in this manner.

As regional winners, MSI now progress through to the prestigious 2011 National Australian Export Awards. This culminates with the announcement of the National winners at a presentation in Brisbane in December, as well as the Prime Minister's Australian Exporter of the Year.
